Do you want to take a stroll through the charming historical city center of St. Gallen? Then join our experienced city guides after the first conference day. The rest of the evening you will have plenty of time to further explore the city and its restaurants on your own.

Empa lab tour

Do you want to see science in action? Then join our Empa lab tour. We will present to you our innovative solutions for industrial and societal challenges. In addition, our Swiss partner institutes will demonstrate their contribution to polymer research. After the lab tour, Empa invites you to taste St. Gallen’s famous “Bratwurst” and other culinary treats, as well as our local beer (we also have non-alcoholic drinks).

Banquet

Do not miss our traditional PPS banquet! It will start with a reception, where you will be entertained by a trio playing vintage Appenzeller music. Dinner highlights include award ceremonies and presentations of further PPS activities. Let’s socialize and network.

In parallel to the conference, your fellow traveler can thus discover the eastern part of Switzerland Tuesday through Friday.
